Travel and other information Registration fee: free! Flights: Southwest flies from Islip to Albuquerque. Other flights go out of LGA and JFK. To Santa Fe: From the Albuquerque airport, reserve a seat on the Sandia Shuttle. It runs every hour, and can drop you off at any hotel in Santa Fe. Driving time: 1 hour, cost: $28 one-way, $48 roundtrip. Once in Santa Fe, you really don't need a car. You can also rent a bike. Hotels: price scales with distance from the Plaza. The Sage Inn in at the edge of what you can reach on foot. If you go further out, look along Cerillos Road (SR 14), since there is a city bus running along there to and from downtown.
