In order to study how the cold current bias increase with radiation received by the ssensor, we are going to tape two wedges #064 and #333 with TLD onto the magnectic tip. Then the radiation received by the wedge and its cold bias current will be measured. The measured data for the two wedges is written into the below two tables and plotted into the below two charts.

Wedge #064 (4 inches poly on the back at IR)

Date Temperature (°C) Radiation (rem) Cold Bias Current (μA) in a bias voltage of every 10 volts through 70 volts

3/13/2012 24 0 0.03 0.04 0.04 0.04 0.05 0.05 0.05
3/20/2012 24 ?? 0.15 0.20 0.23 0.26 0.28 0.29 0.30

Wedge #333 (No protection at IR)
