The Fisher sensor does not want to go below 18%RH. Michael suspects that their specs say they are not meant to go below 20%.
The manual for the HX49 has the hookup of the power and signal reversed. For the correct assignment, look under the blue terminal block on the PC board of the sensor itself. The block lifts off vertically.
